Sourdough Workshop

Soulful Summer Day Retreat

Saturday 3 July & Saturday 10 July 2021

Come and spend the day with Suzie Fenn Yoga & Pilates in our beautiful Event Barn.  

The day will consist of Energetic Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Pilates with a classical focus, a soulful slow & restful yoga class and a countryside walk.

A delicious lunch, afternoon snack and drinks are provided

Timings are 10am - 4pm

Rest, Restore, Re-balance….

Retreat from the East is an immersive experience, creating an opportunity for you to press pause and breath, plunging into nature, and soaking up the delights of Eastern philosophies, therapies and nutrition.  Our concept for the retreat is to rest, restore and re-balance in the backdrop of this beautiful, inspiring haven in Hampshire - spending quality time with friends and/or with other likeminded souls.  There are lots of gems on offer, including restorative yoga practices, including Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and soft yoga flows.  Our on-sight experienced therapists offer Eastern treatments stemming from Ayurvedic practices from India, as well as other luxury and re-balancing therapies, one of which will be included in your package.  A couple of workshops will introduce you to self-care practices that you may wish to continue with as you return from the weekend.  Delicious and nutritious plant-based food will be provided each meal, allowing an opportunity to gather and connect.  Come and join us and create space to explore a new way of life and live and love the essence of the East.

Join us here at Gambledown Farm to explore unusual herbs and foraged ingredients to bring alive the best of the UK's seasonal produce, as well as Gambledown's home-reared meat.

You will be welcomed by a specially created cocktail introducing you to the theme of the evening, then served a 3-course set menu with vegetarian options available to any meat elements.  Herbal tea, coffee and confectionery will round the night off.

Yamuna Total Body All Day Workshop

This all day Yamuna total body care workshop is designed to cover more areas in depth than we usually have time for in a morning workshop. We are going to by awakening, structuring and aligning the feet, ankles, knees and hips. Focused work on the pelvis and then progressing up and wrapping round the torso to the shoulders and neck. We will learn both the basic and more advanced YBR routines but not repeating work from the January Total Body Workshop. Restorative and therapeutic breath work will draw our day together to a close.

Systematically moving through the entire body, elongating muscles, improving alignment and overall well being you will feel a significant change in your self and approach to health and exercise. All balls and Foot Savers/Wakers are provided but spaces are limited and booked in advance. When booking please advise of any allergies or dietary requirements. Lunch will be Vegan friendly.


Gut Health Talk and Light Lunch

This event will explore the links between gut, mental and physical health.  Catherine Rogers is a mental health therapist, whose innovative practice focuses on how physical health can improve mental health.  Catherine works with experienced nutritionists, dieticians and doctors, and with a diploma in nutrition herself, provides a multi-disciplinary insight into health issues.

Her 20 years of experience and her work with Oxford University PhD researchers looking at gut bacteria in relation to the immune system, schizophrenia and other areas, has led her to passionately believe in the importance of good gut health for both mental and physical wellbeing.

The result of this passion is “Gut Well Soon”, her new book which shows how different health conditions are connected to gut health.

Not satisfied with just writing a book, Catherine has also created an informative and individualised online programme called Reset Your Health. The recipes are generated by powerful algorithms which will only include foods tailored to an individual’s own health challenges and food preferences.
