If you are planning an epic weekend away with all the extended family, or looking for a simple space to host your monthly work meeting, Gambledown Farm is open to ideas and can be flexible to suit your requirements.

In autumn 2019 we finished the conversion of a large agriculture barn to an all purpose event space, able to sit 50-70 people.

The space includes a bespoke commercial grade, demonstration kitchen which can be used for workshops and for the catering of events.

Featuring a reception area, loos, and a shower room the barn is suitable for holding exercise classes, corporate events and all manner of functions.

WITH SO MUCH SPACE AT GAMBLEDOWN FARM THE OPPORTUNITY FOR HOSTING EVENTS IS LIMITLESS

SMALL
EVENTS

2-20 guests

Our barn conversions are spacious and adaptable allowing them to be used for a variety of events. We've previously hosted pop-up shops, dinner parties, yoga classes, workshops and meetings.

We can assist with your catering with use of our wood-fired pizza oven, kitchens, and recommending excellent chefs who have worked with Gambledown previously.

BIG 
EVENTS

20 - 100 guests

 

Our next barn conversion facilitates seating 50-70 guests and is serviced by a commercial grade kitchen and an elegant washroom. 

Vast sliding glass doors running along the length of the entertaining space fill the room with light and give the potential for opening the space up into the garden outside.

If you require even more space there is the possibility for hosting your marquee in our grounds and having use of the event kitchen.

OVERNIGHT
EVENTS

Beds to sleep 36 guests

Gambledown Farm is the ideal location if you are looking to host an event and have your guests stay the night without the restrictions of a hotel.

The site can be hired as a whole giving you exclusive use of the farm, barns, glamping and event space.

We can provide guests with our farm's produce ready for breakfast, make use of our woodfired pizza oven and kitchens, and put you in touch with our trusted chefs and hog roast caterers who have worked at events at Gambledown before.

CORPORATE 
EVENTS

Follow in the footsteps of giants such as Google and take your employees out of the office and into nature to let ideas run free . Getting away from the desk and into peaceful surroundings has been proven to be an effective way to stimulate creativity and problem solving.

Our glamping tents, with their separate bedrooms and modern bathrooms are the perfect solution for getting everyone sleeping under the stars, but not out of their comfort zone.

We have acres of land for team building exercises and are in close proximity to numerous group activity sites, such as clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing, and Go Ape Moor Valley who offer excellent corporate days.

Our spacious barn conversions are great conference and meeting locations with their fast wifi, large dining tables and informal seating areas. With the option to stay over night they are a refreshing change from the usual impersonal and stuffy chain hotel options.

Catering can be arranged and we now have the facilities to host large scale functions in our newly finished Event Space.

WEDDINGS

The Hay Barn and The Cart Shed are both flooded with natural light due to their generous floor to ceiling windows, perfect for bridal make-up application and beautiful preparation pictures. The Staddlestone Barn is perfect for the Bridal couple.  The whole bridal party can stay at Gambledown the night before with space to sleep 14 across the three barns.

Our event space, newly finished, is able to seat

50-70 people and suitable for hosting weddings breakfasts, lunches, cocktail receptions and parties.

We have excellent caterers who have worked with us before and can be recommended depending on your taste.

 

For large wedding receptions we have the capacity to host your own marquee and sleep 38 of your guests.

Gambledown Farm is just a 17 minute drive from Romsey Abbey.
