Gambledown Farm Chilli

We use our shorthorn, grass fed beef stewing steak chunks instead of mince. This makes for an elevated chilli and is great for feeding a crowd.

Ingedients:

1 tube Bomba paste / tomato concentrate

1 onion, sliced & diced

Olive oil

1 tin black beans (drained)

1 red chilli

1 tspn smoked paprika

1 sliced & cubed red pepper

1 x 500gram pack of diced Gambledown Farm beef

Coriander

1 x lime


Method

Saute onions in olive oil until soft & golden then saute the red pepper until soft. Add the beef and brown all over. Then add spices, salt & pepper tomato concentrate, beans and cook at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes taking care to check and add boiling water if necessary.

Check that the beef is tender and if it needs further cooking leave in for another 15 minutes.

Serve with rice or a jacket potate, coriander and a squeeze of lime. Or leave to cool and then reheat thoroughly and serve the following day. Enjoy
